Background Introduction

This company is a commercial vehicle manufacturing and passenger car chassis system production enterprise under SAIC Motor, and is a major supporting supplier of chassis systems for SAIC Volkswagen and SAIC-GM. It has received SAIC Volkswagen's "Excellent Supplier Gold Award" and SAIC-GM's "Global Project Award".

The company headquarters is located in Shanghai Pudong Lujiazui Financial Trade Zone, with 7 production bases, 4 joint ventures, covering an area of about 700,000 square meters, building area of over 400,000 square meters, and currently more than 8,000 employees, including more than 1,500 engineering and technical personnel.

Main businesses cover two major sectors: commercial vehicles and passenger car chassis systems. Commercial vehicle products include Isutana business vehicle series and special vehicles, 15-ton heavy truck series, high-end tourist buses, large and medium-sized ordinary buses; Passenger car chassis system products include front axle module, rear axle module, and exported passenger car parts to US GM and Ford.

Project Information

The project adds new production lines for EH32 rear axle assembly line and electric drive shaft assembly line, rear subframe press-fit line, and structural member press-fit line. Based on product traceability list and process traceability requirements, EH32 assembly traceability requirements are achieved.

The architecture is mainly divided into three layers: data service layer, logic control layer, and physical execution layer.

Assembly Traceability Project Architecture

The system is deployed on the server of the logic control layer, using configuration software as the functional design and development platform, and achieves data exchange and monitoring with bottom-layer equipment through standard communication protocols based on industrial buses such as Profibus, ProfiNet, or EtherNet/IP.

Generate corresponding work order plans on the work order management module interface based on the current production plan; combine with production line PDA or HMI for rework operations, with rework information presented on the corresponding operation interface.
